Born and raised in Rexburg, Idaho, Kimberly Sommer grew up in a musical family where singing was a natural part of life. From her earliest years in choirs and orchestras through middle school, junior high, and high school, she discovered a deep love for sharing music. She went on to participate in State Solo and perform with the All-State Choir, as well as sing in barbershop quartets, later continuing her musical studies as a member of the Collegiate Singers at BYU–Idaho. Over the years, she has enjoyed many opportunities to perform as a soloist and recently recorded hymns for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as an alto in a professional quartet. Kimberly now teaches voice lessons and finds joy in helping others grow in their musical abilities. She’s also a wife to Kent and mother to twins, Olivia and Blakely, and their little brother, Levi. She loves finding moments to sing wherever life takes her.
